  1. When you fishing for Kings in Oswego late August to catch Coho just run a line up high or a 10 Leadcore with dodgers and spoons, or just plain colorful spoons. You will catch a lot of them, then are in the same waters just higher in the column. .

  2. I have a 92 Penn Yan 255 Intruder I might be willing to sell geared up, have 4 mag 10 HS Cannons (though only have 3 on it right now). Berts Track system and holders, Planer Mask, 4x Fish hawk system, Lowerance 5HDS Fish Finder, Simrod Auto Pilot, Offshore Radio, MercCruiser 5.0, had a kicker on it so it's setup already all you need is the kicker motor and brace system,  trailer.

Owned it for the last 4 years, only problem I've had with it was I needed the carburetor rebuilt.

  3. Wouldn't fish with out mine. Most guys would rather go with out a fish finder on the lake then without their fish hawk. Including me.

I got mine five years ago and my hookup rate increased on day one. Though if u only fish a few times a year might be cheaper options out there.

I bought an old 840 fish hawk for cheap and bought the 4x probe which works wt the 840 display and transducer. Save u about 300 or so.

Can you use Dipsey's off of a downrigger? I currently have manual downrigger's therefore cranking them up and down all day from 80 to 100 feet becomes a pain in the butt and would not want to do that all day at 150 to 200 feet. Therefore was thinking about running a dipsey down the additional distance. If I am using a wire dipsey how would the deployment go and how would you connected to the release at the downrigger balls? Any thoughts or suggestions besides buying electric downrigger's. LOL.

Why do you want to get to 150 to 200? You fishing the Finger Lakes? Just curious, as you don't need to get those deeps on Lake O very often....
