  1. Were pretty limited this year. Just got out of the Navy and moved back here. Haven't bought a new boat yet so were just trolling with bait casters with 12lb test and trolling sinkers. No down riggers. The locals over here told me to fish in 50 fow and just pull spoons. I think were SOL till I get a new rig. Thanks for the help.
  2. Just moved to a home on Braddock Bay. Any pointers on where to fish for salmon or trout? The ship wreck outside the bay has produced some nice smallies and perch but looking for some bigger fish. Not trying to steal your secrets! Just looking for some help. Thanks. 3. Been out of the military for about two months now and this is my first time hunting back in upstate NY in over a decade. Any good public land to deer hunt in western ny? Im not a group hunter. I hunt by myself and try to drag the old lady out from time to time. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. I hit that up yesterday. I spent about 3 hours there and didn't see one fish hooked. I couldn't remember when the big salmon and steely runs were. I also tried out by Webster Park. Water levels were really low. Found a few holes with some fish though. Thank you for the reply. Good luck out there.
  5. Name: Bradley Bennigsohn Location: Fairport, NY Home Port: Boat Name/Type: I fish for: Anything that swims ================== Hello everyone. Just finished up ten years in the Navy and I decided to come home to New York. Mostly fly fish for trout, salmon, or steely's. That's what I grew up doing and since I sold my boat before leaving the west coast not as many options as I once had. LOL. I would appreciate any advice or good spots to try around the Rochester area. Thank you.
  6. Spent the last decade in the Navy and I just got home last week. Haven't caught a steely or salmon around here since I was a kid with my dad. Any advice or good places to try in the Rochester area? Not looking for your hot spots just a little help. Thanks.
