For jigging try 1oz-1.5 oz jighead with a white shad soft bait 3.5 inch size. Look for fish say 50-100 ft, drop your jig to the bottom and reel it up at a steady pace until on surface then drop again. Usually lakers on bottom, salmon, browns, rainbows through the water column. Mexico fishing report

Looking for advice for this weekend. I will be headed up to the big lake for the first time, I keep my boat on Cayuga. Would you suggest Oswego or Mexico/ Salmon River area?
