A mooching reel is a single action reel that is used for "mooching". Its a technique that is used for salmon(mostly a west coast thing). It allows you to peal off feet of line at a time while feeding out a herring rigged on a hook under a banana sinker.

Thanks but a medium priority mail box is $13.45 . If lures are removed from packages will fit small box for $7.00. At $50.00 for 16 spoons is $3.125 each. Seems reasonable.
