Darren, this site will not allow me to send a PM. Guess Im a newbie. Regarding the location of the Rainbows, I was walking my dog in paths by Sky Valley Cres. (Lions Valley Park). There are a few nice size pools on that stretch of 16-Mile. I saw a couple come flying out of the first pool south of the walking bridge at the bottom of the Sky Valley Path. I haven't fished it in a long time, but should be perfect to try and hook your son's first Steelie. You can park at Sky Valley Cresent and have your lines wet within 5 Min. P.S- If you aren't familiar with Sky Valley Trail, be aware that the path down to the creek is about 50 degrees. A breeze to go down, a **** to come up.

Not sure about Bronte. But saw a ton of Rainbows running up 16 Mile Creek earlier in the week. I was debating on heading back to the house to suit up, but a thunderstorm made the decision for me.
