Hi- I am new to salmon and lake Ontario. Just wondering what gear and set up I need. I have a 18' princecraft with 2 Scotty electric downriggers. Just wondering what type of line, the pound test, etc I need to purchase before heading out. Also, do you always run with flashers/spin doctors. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Hi - New to salmon fishing. Always fish trout in Ontario on smaller lakes. Was wondering if there is any decent salmon fishing off prince edward county by the 2nd week in June. I have it open and was going to give it a try. Any suggestions on the gear to try. I'm also new to downriggers since I have usually used steel line. Thanks
