  1. Any advice on what to stack my down riggers with?

I havnt had much luck at all with stackers? Anyone have any advice on what to use and at what depths to stack? Plus it seems like once I start stacking the bite slows. Dose this affect the speed of lures or something? Any help would be great.

  2. I'm running allot of spoons and having good luck. BUT I can't buy a hit on the flasher / fly rig. I'm running @2.5mph - 2.8 mph and about 10 ft off the balls. Also I'm running about a 12 Inch leader to the fly. Any one see anything I'm doing wrong here? I would like to learn as much as possible about the flahers and flys to add to my bag.

    Thanks all,

  3. Hello guys,

I shouted out a few times to all, over the past few times I've been out not sure if anyOne was out. Got no response so just figured no one was out. My best luck was in 150 fow 50 - 70 down on diggers all spoons. Can't get anything to hit the flashers with flys. I have been trying to work on speed with the new boat. Anyway im gonna fish the last few days of derby but I will still be shouting out to whom ever is out. I would love to boat the big one but I just really enjoy catching fish. So derby or not look me up and I will share what's going on in my boat. Good luck all.

  4. Anyone interested I'm going to be launching out of Oswego this sat & sun (6th &7th) and would like to know if any boats would like to exchange info out on the lake. I monitor channel 68 & 69. My boat name is pursuer and my name is John . I am trying to put together a good group of guys to stay in contact with so that we can make our trips more productive. For me it's a 4 hr drive to the lake and I make the trip about 8 to 10 times a season for brns and salmon. The more I read post on the site the more I see that guys are looking for help and friends on the water, looking for productive water and lures, depth, weather etc. Not to say that the info on the sit isn't helpful (cause it is VERY helpful ) but I think being on the water and talking to people who r fishing at that point in time is much more accurate and enjoyable. So with that said I hope to hear from you and maybe start it up this week end and maybe have a good group for the fall kings?

    Thanks all,

    John

  5. When running spoons should the spoon move side to side in a wobbling motion? And any advice on the types of flys being use for kings? Picks would be nice and soooooooo helpful. Also I have been reading allot of post on dipsydivers and most Say to run 30lb test. Why so heavy? And what size dipsydivers is best to run? Lots of questions but I am hooked on this type of fishing and want to learn as much as I can. Thanks all.

  6. Hello all,

I haven't been king fishing in 10yrs. I'm planing a trip up in a couple weeks. Any advice on tackle spoons, flys, cut bait? I have all equipment diggers, dips Etc. I just need some advice on what to run and @ what speed and depth. I have read all the post as to different lures but I can't understand the abbreviated lingo? Also I use to go out of Oswego is that still a good area to start out and what dept should I get to before I start my trolling?

    Thanks

    John,
