  1. 1992 Penn Yan 255 Intruder - Ready for FISHING - Absolutely a great running and fishing boat.  I'm selling as I've downsized.

    5.0 Mercruser with electronic ignition

    Simrad Auto Pilot

    (2) Cannon Mag 10 Downriggers

    Rocket Launcher

    New Bottom Paint

    Port a Potty

    New canvas 3 years ago

All new cushions and rail cushions last year

Full camper canvas 3 years ago

    (2) 100 qt cooler/seats

    (6) Berts Rod Holders

    Wash Down Pump

    Marine Radio

    New Chairs

    New Swim Platform Ladder

Tandem wheel galvanized trailer with good tires

The interior and exterior of this boat is in very good condition, and the motor and out drive is as well.  It does not have an hour meeting on the engine, and I have not had a survey done.  I've not had any issues with the hull, motor, or out drive what so ever.    It has a tremendous amount of storage, enclosed port a potty, and tons of room for fishing.  This is a great rig, just too big for me, as I either fish with my son or solo.  This boat can be seen in Bradford NY, about 15 miles west of Watkins Glen.  Feel free to call me with any questions at 607-794-4611.  Asking $11,995

  2. Had a great morning on Seneca today!  Spent the morning with my 16 year old nephew Chris and had a blast!  Picked up fish on riggers, dipseys, lead, and inlines, went 5 for 6.  Chris was the "reel" man and I was the "netter."  Started with a 6lb 5 oz laker, then a 8 lb 14 oz brown, 80' down on a silver dodger with blue fly, just south of the Salt plant.  Ended up picking up a couple of more browns and a LL.  Shot up the lake to Glenora and picked up a quick brown, then nothing.  I polluted the lake when my downrigger cable caught in my kicker and sent my probe and everything else to the bottom.  About a $260 break off!  Ouch!!!  A great day on the water, and especially fun to watch the youngster.  Unfortunately I left the camera on the boat or I'd post a couple of pictures.

Good fishing and please take the time to introduce a child to the great outdoors!

  3. 2003 Trophy Pro 22’ with 125 hp Mercury Outboard oil injected.

Wash down pump, (2) fish wells with pumps, bait well, two batteries and dual battery switch. Stand up canvas, swim platform with ladder, VHF radio, port-a-potty, and cuddy cabin. (4) cannon swivel bases will be left on the boat. Tandem wheel galvanized trailer with (4) new radial tires.

The boat, motor, and trailer are all in excellent condition. This is a great fishing & family boat. Fished the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario all last season, loads, fishes, and trailers very nice. If you’re looking for a great fishing boat, ready to go, this is it. $14,500. I’m selling due to the recent purchase of a Penn Yan Intruder.

This boat can be seen at Seneca Marine in Watkins Glenn.

Any questions call 607-583-2424 or 607-794-4611.

  4. You'll love the auto pilot. I just put one on my 22' Trophy and it was the best investment I ever made. Made rigging lines a breeze. Mine went together well, for some reason I had to "program" it twice before it would syncronized. After that, it was "hands off." My wife likes it too! She says I holler at here when she drives.... Enjoy!

  5. Fished out of Hammondsport from 8am - 11am. Boated 10 Lakers, lost 4. Charted lots of fish in the Snug Harbor area in 125 fow. All fish were caught within 20 foot of bottom. Trolled 4 rods, 2 on downriggers 2 on dipseys, all fish came off the riggers. The hot lures were blue jointed rapalas, J7 & J9. Trolling speed was 1.8. Small fis, but a great day on the water!

    ==================

    Hey Everyone

I'm 52 years old and have been fishing all my life. Last year I purchased a 23' fishing boat and fish the Finger Lakes. I dock my boat a Seneca Lake, and also fish Keuka. I really want to get into the LO fishing for salmon this month. I have very limited experience on the big lake, so I'm a little intimidated. I'd like to get into the salmon without going too far out from port the first time or two. The closest port for me is Sodus. I'm looking for suggestions for a "first time" port for someone like me.

    Thanks for reading!

Good Luck and safe fishing to all.

    John
