  2. Selling my 1997 Excel 23SE One reason - Divorce This boat has only been in fresh water, has been well maintained, and runs beautifully! This is a great boat for big lake fishing, and is very comfortable. I have fished with 6 people on board, but ideally suited for up to 4 people and she handles up to 3-4 footers pretty comfortably. Overnight trips are no problem, as there is an aft cabin as well as the forward berth, full canvas enclosure, snap-in carpets, and a functioning head. Great for deep water or flat line trolling, or just having a great day on the water with friends and family! Major Equipment List: 1 - 5.7L Volvo Penta outdrive 1 - Full canvas cabin enclosure 2 - Hydraulic trim tabs 1 - 2010 Lowrance 5HD 1 - AM/FM/CD/MPEG stereo with 4 speakers 1 - VHF 2-way radio 4 - Scotty rod holders 2 - Recessed salt-water style rod holders 4 - Life jackets 1 - Anchor Full interior cushion set Snap-in carpets Gas tank is 55 gallons NADA low retail is $12,380 with options. 6. Wondering if anyone has been working the Rochester area and if the fish have been cooperating. A buddy of mine is coming to town Saturday with his son and they want me to take them out but I haven't had the boat off of the dock in weeks! Any intel would be greatly appreciated, I'm docked in Irondequoit Bay and would run up to 20 or 30 miles if weather permits and there are fish to chase! Thanks, Eric
  7. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 8/27 Time on Water:6:30 - 2:30 Weather/Temp: Hot Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Less than 1 feet Surface Temp: 72-74 Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 5 Total Boated:5 Species Breakdown: 4 Browns, 1 Coho Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Started the morning in 85 fow due North of mouth of I-Bay. Marked bait fish 40 - 80 down, a number of streaks on the screen. took a NNW heading and kept marking bait for 1.5 miles, pulled 2 small browns. Left fish to find fish (dumbass) and went deep to try to find bigger. Ended up in 365 fow with heading SSW towards Russell Station stacks. Caught a small Coho in 200' about 80 down and didn't mark any substantial bait the whole time ~3 hours. Finally at 12:00 decided to head back to all the spots I had marked in the morning and set up on a SE heading back through the line, starting in about 105' and finally ending in 80' due north of I-Bay mouth. Caught 2 more browns around 3-4 pounds each. We did mark some big fish in groups on that path down close to the bottom, . Pulled all the fish from about 70' down. Coho on 12 colors of lead core, and the others on dipseys. All on spoons. Bloody nose, orange/silver, and rainbow colored.
