  1. Sport pilots aren't made anymore unfortunately. Was looking to replace my head unit and couldn't find one. As I recently found out simrad makes a rotary set up. Search it on google and it comes up with the AP 24. What I'm going to.

  2. It would occur between the tip of the rod to the release on the rigger. Where there's no swivel. Wouldn't happen everytime and sometimes would get into the spool and cause a bit of a mess. I still always ran 30 but just never was a fan of the stuff. Everyone has their preference I guess.

  3. I've only ever fished the creek by there where my buddies camp is. Not sure if it's connected to the bay but I assume? We always did pretty good through there with northern's casting larger spinner baits and medium size long a's along the weed lines. We would even hit a few in the scum with frog baits when targeting bass.

  4. I like to Look for 52 and lower. Then set your spread some below and some above. I personally like setting the probe rigger right in the middle at 47ish then sending the other rigger into the ice water below. Then run my divers and coppers accordingly. Some above and some right in the 47 degree range. Guesstimating anyways as far as line out for divers and length of coppers. Fish will begin to be out of temp here soon and even now it doesn't hurt to fish the marks even if it's in 60 degrees. My opinion anyways.

  5. If you you do run the unit off a bus bar for ground but use the secondary ground cable directly to the battery it should clean up alot. Now i have a Garmin so I dont know how the Lowrance units work but I know that mine has that option. All of my electronics on the dash go to a fuse box then to the battery.

  6. Screw stackers! It's always the bottom line that releases and you have to bring the whole stupid thing up and reset both lines. The you have me who always forget to back off on the drag before sending the second line down and pops the release at the ball. Then the whole process starts over again. Give it a try. Maybe it will work better for you.

  7. Just got up to the lake for a four day weekend. Water level is VERY high! We have maybe 6" of dock showing, whereas we normally have 1.5ft and more during low levels.

I wish I had better news on fishing, bit SLOW is the word. I think the cold weather and east winds have slowed the warning of the lake and we are seeing the normal June transition now. It is supposed to be sunny and warm all weekend, so that should help.

With the wonderful forecast, the bats and lake will be swamped with newer boaters, some with a few drinks in them, so please be careful out there!

Also, if you haven't already signed up for the Sodus Pro Am, do it! It is a lot of fun. Unless you're scared to lose to a guy who uses pink poles...

You ever find out when the deadline is? I wanted to sign up tonight but no way ill make it to Krenzers before they close.
