  1. I usually put my front electric trolling motor down right from the start and put it on North (you need I-pilot). it wont keep the boat at the right speed but it will keep us in the general direction .I also find putting out the planer boards help keep things on the straight and narrow. Better have a good mast in 2-3 footers though.

  2. I was out last weekend on lake O and I am having a problem getting my lines in with all the water lice ,(I do believe that is what it is). We run mono and braid , both load up . the only thing it doesn't stick to is our leadcore. is there something  I can do to help with this

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAIL Started at 7am with large 3 foot chop, and the "MOTHER"of all tangles on a dipsey vrs leadcore . After we got our sh@# together we started pulling fish after fish non stop for about 4 hrs. Water laid down around 11 am and things slowed a bit. our hot lure was inhailed by a bow and shut that line down so we called it quits at 1pm Great day :yes::yes:

  7. Ok, I just started using a set of used boards that came with the mast and riggers . The mast is mounted high on the bow platform,so i am about 7'-8' off the water. The boards are all plastic and weighted at the back to keep them upright ,they really ride nice thruogh the water but i feel they are not pulling hard enough. I was told by the previous owner to just attach the line directly to the front eye bolt and let them out. there is a left and right board. The boards were made by Mac -Jac out of Muskegon Mi. The company has since gone out of business. I am thinking of putting a length of line on the boards with a lopp 1/3 back to open up the angle. any thoughts. The picture is one I found on line with the original box and instructions ( I have no instructions) I have attached a pic of one "board"
