  1. I have an Lss2 , trans and hawk all on one side , I made a custom board about 2 feet long . Start with the Lss2 no closer then 7-8 " from the edge of the outboard then another 7-8 " to the trans and so on. Hawk can be up high on the trans as it is only used atlow speeds . Sent from my SM-T110 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  3. I usually put my front electric trolling motor down right from the start and put it on North (you need I-pilot). it wont keep the boat at the right speed but it will keep us in the general direction .I also find putting out the planer boards help keep things on the straight and narrow. Better have a good mast in 2-3 footers though.
  4. I was out of Grimsby today from 8 am-130 pm and only managed one small bow and a coho . 3 knock offs . All were on 7-10 colour toxic lines with large spoons. One on a dipsey. Last year in the same area and program we usually boated 12-15 . Its has been a very slow year for me as well. Haven't tried the earrings yet. but maybe next time
  5. I was out last weekend on lake O and I am having a problem getting my lines in with all the water lice ,(I do believe that is what it is). We run mono and braid , both load up . the only thing it doesn't stick to is our leadcore. is there something I can do to help with this

After we got our sh@# together we started pulling fish after fish non stop for about 4 hrs. 10. Ok, I just started using a set of used boards that came with the mast and riggers . The mast is mounted high on the bow platform,so i am about 7'-8' off the water. The boards are all plastic and weighted at the back to keep them upright ,they really ride nice thruogh the water but i feel they are not pulling hard enough. I was told by the previous owner to just attach the line directly to the front eye bolt and let them out. there is a left and right board. The boards were made by Mac -Jac out of Muskegon Mi. The company has since gone out of business. I am thinking of putting a length of line on the boards with a lopp 1/3 back to open up the angle. any thoughts. The picture is one I found on line with the original box and instructions ( I have no instructions) I have attached a pic of one "board"
  11. I was out in the same area on the same morning. Same results ,lots of small coho and bows . Was a great day . Btw. what are you fishing in. Looks like an oversized blue bathtub. You have balls thats for sure heading out in a rig that small. Hey what ever works!!! Nice King.
  12. Angler Outfitters in Woodstock have tons of them . I am pretty sure the last time i was there they had a deal on 5 for$20 any size!!
