No they weren't contenders, have a few of those too. These were called knockout and they are stamped on the back....I think they come in copper and silver backs. I have a few around but no packaging but if i remember they came on a yellow cardboard with a fish logo.

Lure question....I have been to many tackle shops over the winter looking for knockout spoons and all are either out or have never heard of them. If anyone on board knows where i can get them i would appreciate it. I bought some on Ebay last year and want to grab a few more for the upcoming season. I use them mainly for 'eyes and rainbow but the bigger ones are killer on the salmon. If you have some sitting around i would buy them used too. Thanks
