I just bought a boat that had 1 downrigger swivel mounted for a Cannon rigger. I bought another new Cannon to put on the underside and purchased this BN aluminum backing plate to go under the deck to help spread the weight under the thin deck.I went to put it on today and find that it will not fit so its back to square 1. I will sell it for exactly what I paid for it. $16.00 plus shipping. These new from Cannon are almost $40. Its drilled and tapped to screw the rigger righ on. 4 outside holes are not tapped.These are where you attach it to your boat.If interested post here or e mail me at [email protected]

I need alittle help please. I just bought a boat that has 2 Cannon swivel mounts already mounted.I have found 2 like new Big Jon manual downriggers.Question is- will these Big Jon riggers fit onto these Cannon swivel bases? Thanks in advance.

I have an older but in great working condition, a Cannon Mag 10 Electric Downrigger with release and cable, hardly been used and a LN Big Jon dual reel Planer Board mast and mount.Numerous Planer Board releases also, a pair of the Wille Sea Skee planer boards that you may add water to for ballast.
