SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
Weather finally broke at the West end and as a result the lake was loaded with boats. Bait marked at the 190 - 210 mark and with the bait came the Kings. Hooked up with the first double header about 40 mins in, after that it was hot all morning. Teeners gave us action for the first hour or so until one of the wires about 250 back started screaming. Almost lost another spool before we could get the gear up and take chase but we managed to bag a good one! Once again we were having all our luck on B.Fuller spoons, either on their own or trailing a SD the glows were unstoppable today. Hopefully the weather holds out for tomorrow it's shaping up to be another great weekend with the big boys biting.
The "K.O.S" was the color of choice yet again !
Tightlines & Good Luck !

2 guys in the boat? Run 4 rods! 1 on each of the riggers and fly a diver between the 1.5-3.0 setting off either side of the boat. Target the 2 rigger lines deep with sliders and run the dipsys around the 200' mark working your way back until you hit fish. This will get you a much better spread and allow you to cover more ground then running 3 rods straight back.

Waves were min this morning but it definitly looks the wind / waves are building. Should be good for a couple hours, if it gets bad later. Reports might be right.

She was dead calm this morning and has remained that was for the day. It's been very unsettled but tomorrow looks beauty! If it's a west wind the waves will be min as they will only build from Hamilton. Work the 100 mark - depending on what happened to the surface temp today. Good luck and let me know if the water has turned over again.

Tried to beat the storm - got out for and hour and a half. Water turned over big time, surface temp was 58. Considering it was 84 off Oakville yesterday that's a drastic turnover! Locating fish was a battle in itself. Hit 2 back to back a 28 and a 23 around 9pm before the weather socked in. Green and Glow Bfuller took both fish.
Tight lines !

Where were you fishing? I'm likely hitting up the Bronte/Oakville area in a few days.
Been having better luck either off the apartments just east of the mouth or go west and fish off of the Shell tanker peir. Don't waste your time fishing the mouth - it's a zoo and guys will drive right ontop of you. Good luck!

Not this week, top 6 of 10 are like 32 - 35lbs. However we did manage to boat a 30 and change this evening on a "King of Sting".
-
Put a 30 & change in the boat tonight at he 180 ft mark out Port Credit way! Make sure to cover a variety of bait from flies and flashers like your spin doctor to spoons and divers. Focus on your spread - that way you'll have a better chance to cover more water, bait, depth and distance in one go. Also try fishing in and out from the shore until you mark fish then travel along the shore at that desired depth. It's all about locating them! Once you find them 9 times out of 10 they bite. Big boys tend to show themselves more often as we get later into the summer - keep at it you'll get into them yet.
Tightlines.

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
Wild weekend and a great kick off to the Great Salmon Hunt. Took my dad out on the Saturday and got him into a 28lb king and a multitude of 20's and teeners. Lots of action on the divers about 180 - 250 back while the rigger were lighting up around the 80 - 120 mark. Flashers were on fire with about an 8 foot lead while every fish was taken on a BFuller spoon! That storm on Saturday seemed to turn over the water but the action remained deep well below where we marked the thermo. Tonight we nailed fish off the east side of Port Credit taking a 22 - an 18lb king and a mix of shakers and bows to fish off the night. Still looking for that big boy !
Added a few pictures cant up load them all.
Bobby I can't wait for the next batch of spoons! These things are lethal
Tightlines.
