Hello, just broke a few inches off my skeg backing the boat out the driveway. Nothing to serious but was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one of those skeg gaurds to put on until I get it fixed. Its an Alpha one outdrive. Im in Fayetteville just east of Syaracuse. Leaving town Sunday with the boat so need something ASAP. West Maine will have to order one and looks like it won't be in on time. Any ideas? Thank in advance..

also, Curro, hope that when you fogged the engine you didnt hook it up to the muffs since you had already drained the block and added the antifreeze!

I fogged it with the motor running while the antifreeze was being run through the muffs. Fogged it until the motor stalled.

Thanks for the heads up by the way. Ended up winterizing it myself on Sunday. Change oil in motor and lower, stabilized fuel, drained water from block and manifolds then refilled with RV non-tox antifreeze, then fogged carb until motor stalled.

Been meaning to winterize the boat myself for the past two weeks but keep slacking. What should I expect to pay for a complete winterization at a marina? Any recommendations for a marina not to far from the Fayetteville area?

Was this the same boat that was for sale last year or early this year on this site?

Yes, i bought it off Bill Rodgers. He can vouch for this boat as he owned it for 20 years. He had all the engine work done. I would sure like to keep it but I am in a finacial situation which the sale of this boat would help alliviate. I am asking less than what I paid. I have also added a set of 18x9 Bennet trim tabs. I am also included all my trolling gear and tackle which includes ,6 rods and reels, 400 spoons with spoon box, 200 or so flies some rigged, few dozen echip flashers and spin docters and many misc tackle. Feel free to ask questions or set up a test ride if interested. Thanks
