rigs were set with anywhere from 25-50ft of top out

fished this morning in deans cove got a late start due to the alarm never going off but once we got out the action was pretty good. boated 11 lakers and 2 land locks. ran seth greens off either side and a "0" dipsy in the wash. hot spoons were suttons either all silver or silver and brass and a boo berry contender. most of the fish came in 130-150 FOW dipsy was down 200. great morning on the lake probably would've caught more if we'd have been an hour earlier

im interested in the outboard motor does it troll down?

looking for an outboard motor with a long shaft to put on my 14ft v bottom that will go slow enough to troll yet can run to get off a lake fast when need be

saw bellies and/or bass minnows usually work for pike and its possible to catch trout too. rig them up on the bottom on a egg sinker so they can free swim or if the wind is blowing into the lake you can also use a slip bobber

thanks guys i think im gunna go my only problem is i live at the south end i think im gunna launch in watkins then run up towards the salt plant or something. wish i could get to cayuga in time and hit up deans cove!

i've been hitting cayuga alot and been doing fairly decent. would like to hit seneca tomorrow after i get out of work because its closer to home and would allow for more time to troll. i run mostly seth greens but not sure if i should run all seth greens tomorrow or pull out the old lead core. i've heard the rainbow bite has been good recently. any tips on where to go or what to run to pick up some fish?
