    • For best results, allow 10-30 minutes, depending upon area, for the ThermaCell to take effect. Works best where there is minimal air movement..
    • For best coverage in still air, place unit close to the ground. This allows repellent to spread over maximum area.
    • In breezy weather, place the ThermaCell upwind, so the repellent is carried to your protection area.
    • In normal operation a small amount of smoke may be visible coming from the repellent mat..
    • Do not expose ThermaCell appliance or mats to rain. Appliance and mat effectiveness may be diminished if exposed to rain.
    • The underside of the mat may turn brown over time. This is normal.
    • Use one ThermaCell per 225 sq/ft (an area 15' x 15'). Use more in larger areas.
    • To clean unit, simply wipe down with a damp rag. Never submerge in water or cleaning solution.
    • Unfortunately, ThermaCell repellents will not work well at higher elevations above 4,500 ft. The lower air density causes difficulty in starting and running.

    I have a 16 foot boat that i am mounting a willie dual planer board mast on and i am wondering what kind of release is the best to use for spring fishing?? When my father was alive we used rubber bands i want to know wht size do i use for spring fishing??

    • Wearable lifejackets must be readily accessible.
    • You must be able to put them on in a reasonable amount of time in an emergency (vessel sinking, on fire, etc.).
    • They should not be stowed in plastic bags, in locked or closed compartments or have other gear stowed on top of them.
    • The best lifejacket is the one you will wear.
    • Though not required, a lifejacket should be worn at all times when the vessel is underway. A wearable lifejacket can save your life, but only if you wear it.
    • Throwable devices must be immediately available for use.

    All recreational boats must carry one wearable lifejacket (Type I, II, III or Type V lifejacket) for each person aboard. A Type V lifejacket provides performance of either a Type I, II, or III lifejacket (as marked on its label) and must be used according to the label requirements. Any boat 16ft and longer (except canoes and kayaks) must also carry one throwable lifejacket (Type IV lifejacket).
