I fished it twice this week it was great fishing last week, but on Wednesday I only picked up 3 fish in 8 hrs. A bow a ho and lost a chinook in the down rigger cable at the boat after a long fight. Lots of bait around, just not bitein. It will pick up again in the next day or 2

Port hope has been great fishing the last couple days! A mixed bag of bows ho's, and 3 kings biggest was 22. Fished from 90' out to 150'. Lots of bait around!!

Buy a fish hawk TD temp probe, worth every penny for around 120 bucks. As soon as you get out fishing, send your probe down and set your lines accordingly!

I don't know to much about dipsys yet but I do use my leadcore as flatline rods all the time. I will cut my 25' leader off and tie in 300' of mono on top o the lead and use it as a flatline pole, because I don't have as many poles as I would like! And then when you want to use the lead just cut the mono back to your original 25-50 foot leader. I'm sure it would work the same for dipsys if your like me and limited to the number of poles you have!!
