    Looks like the decision for the DEC to open the season on inland waterways to all was a good decision, I'm sure they will definitely looking at fisherman's feedback. Keep up the good reporting Larry. Thanks to your efforts in the muskie world things are working for the better.

    I use smooth drag carbon washers. You can check the prices on their website, www.smoothdrag.com

    I charge the cleaning price plus the price of the drag washer kit.

    Okuma Coldwater Reels

    I have several Cold Waters and they have worked great. Also they come with a very large carbon drag. I know that because I repair reels. After I purchased my Cold Waters I pulled them apart to upgrade the drags but to my surprise they already had a great system. Can't say the same for other makes. And the price is right.
