Anyone have a recommendation for an inexpensive portable fish finder? I need something that can alternate between kayak and row boat. Have heard about the Garmin echo 101. Anyone in a similar situation what do u got??

Go blanked last night at the causeway. Had a bomber but not blue prism (sold out) so I grabbed one that was kinda similar. Group of guys on the end of the causeway in the good spot so that might have something to do with it...

Thanks again to justin for being so gracious to take me out again. Always a blast fishing with this guy and very informative. Last night the lesson was don't be too stubborn and change lures to what everyone else is catching on! Plenty of bass to keep me occupied tho. Good times!!

Took a quick boat ride on skaneateles today to look for some shallow smallies. Hit 6 fish in about 45 minutes, no monsters just some solid 2.5lbers. The wind wasn't bad but it was too much for my little row boat with trolling motor and no anchor. Hopefully back at it later this week.
