Good deal I don't plan on fishing Seneca till late October but I may make a run soon before bow season starts in pa. I heard the water temps are all over the place right now

What's the key to pick up the browns if you don't mind me asking
-
I haven't caught a brown yet out of there I love to catch them just haven't found them and those bigger boats are nice I know my 17' does great on windy days. And yeah I hit it a few times and just picked up a few small landlocks my favorite side it the mouth of the river and the west side that's where all my big fish out of that lake came from

Haha alright I remember seeing you around we will be back out again this winter we did well last season a couple 30" lakers along with some 8lbs landlocks

I've been watching and reading Lou a lot lately and finally figured out this site. I do a lot of trolling in Seneca mostly during the winter when it's to cold for anyone else and I venture up to lake O every once in a while. I fish out of a 93 bass tracker super 17 rigged with 2 down riggers and I do fairly well but will take any info that anyone has to offer. I fish for walleye's, landlocks, lakers, pike, and kings
-
Try running green and black spin doctors and have a sutton 50 spoon behind it that's what I have all my luck on
-
Thanks for the info haha

Well as a guy that lives right on the creek.......you should know!
The oak was hot in July and August, but sure dried up just as we thought the kings would be staging.
My guess....they are all east.....Oswego to Mexico is the place to go!!
Lots of hours fished over the last 2 weeks by lots of fishermen, but not many Tar Babies!!

I fish Seneca a lot and I've done best with my spoons about 10ft behind the ball and with the dodger/flasher and fly/ spoon I try to make my leader 2 to 3 times the length of the dodger/ flasher I use
