    sandbanks to scotch bonnet is a large distance. where was the best fishing and what was your depth, feet of water and lure.

    yup. out this weekend. 1 small one. 140 ft of water down 50ft between salmon point and the bonnet. lots of bait fish at 40ft.

    going to try my luck this weekend. someone posted a 25er out of wellington in the salmon hunt. in the bonnet is quiet, then try salmon point. the guy at the fishing shop in wellington may have some tips.
