Not up there anymore so im just wondering what everyone thinks this big west wind is going to do. Will them super deep fish out 300 plus water still be around??? Heading up this weekend and just trying to come up with a game plan

Ive never ran copper before so this is new to me. First question is what knot do I use to tie the braid to copper. Second question is do I rig end of copper like I would my wire dipsy with the big clip at end? I luckily have an extra wire dipsy clip or two laying around. Also I have been using the wire clamps to rig the clip. Never had one fail but Im betting there is more of a bomb proof way to rig wire to big clip. Any help would be greatly appreciated as Im pullin out Friday for the BIG Lady O

yea im trying to get away from segmenting my core and adding all them failure points. Ive never had one break but still its a risk.

Jekyll Im going with that. I run inline boards this year so I need to run the mono by all means. My buddy told me to run the braid on the coppers which ill do. Thanks a lot guys

ill give it a try... I bought a spool for backing on my centerpin and never used it.

So I know this may be pushing the envelope a but but do you think I can get away with 10 pound mono as backing on my 5 and 7 colors or should I just change it out to 15??? And what is the pros/cons of running braid as backing over just using mono? Just wondering thanks guys
