  2. I know its early for this but I am selling my Otter Cabin 2 man flip over. I bought this new 2 years ago and did not use it last year. I built a Smitty Sled out of Oak and a pair of water skis. Turns out I am getting a little out of shape to be dragging this out on the ice. This is the Cadillac of 2 man shelters. Cost me $700 + time to assemble and supplies and time for Smitty Sled. I also have the correct travel cover. I pull it with a deer drag shoulder harness and hiking poles and it drags very well. Perfect like new condition with no rips or tears. Always stored inside and dried after the few times I went out in it.

Looking to sell for $400 or trade for better quality one man flip over and cash. Located in Rochester, NY

  3. Just installed a Humminbird Helix SI transducer and at plane it creates a rooster tail that wets my outboard. I installed it as per the instructions. I have read several articles on line about this and see some homemade "guards" to prevent this. If I raise it above the bottom of the boat I'm afraid I will lose readings at speed. Anyone have any experience with this?

  4. I grew up on a 1970 Stamas my Dad had for 14 years. Bought new in Henderson Harbor. Twin 6cyl I/o's. I love the boat your selling. Wish I was in the market as I would seriously consider yours. You should have no problem selling it if your buyer knows what the Stamas is all about.

  5. Thought I would share what I made after reading this post. I had an old Willie planer mast with no base. I didn't want to Mount it permenently. I bought the fence post as suggested here and some ½ threaded rod and made this to fit in my seat pedestal mount. I have not tried it out yet and was wondering for those of you who have this set up does it work well? I would hate to see it come loose and smash my windshield. I did wrap a bit of electrical tape at the base to tighten it up. Should I put a strap around it to the bow cleat to put back tension on it? Let me know your thoughts.
