stiff steering fixable? I have an older 18' starcraft. After de-winterizing during my shake down cruise the steering gave strong resistance when turned all the way right or left. Cable seems to move good at rear, lubed up everything at boats back end, seems like trouble is behind the steering wheel. Gentle steering at mid range ok, only hard at extreme left and right ends, kinda like it doesnt want to return back towards center.ides?

I fish alone in an 18' aluminum StarCraft, not comfy being far out in 300/400' depths. Is there anyone who has had any success in closer? Dumb question: where do the brown trout go as summer approaches? Mostly Interested in edible species, ie: not Lakers. I sure would appreciate advice on possible techniques. Thanks in advance.

In Orleans co. Tried fishing alone, too hard for this Sr. Citizen. Lotsa fishing gear also.

I got a giant Coleman "extreme" at Walmart...guaranteed to stay cold for three days of 70 degree temps...$73.00. It's actually over sized for my 18' Starcraft, shoulda got the next size smaller which would have been a better fit and large enough for non-commercial use. Look in sporting goods/boat area. Not always in stock..check several area stores.

Check Wally World...I got a very big Coleman, I think they called it "extreme". Guaranteed to keep cold 3 days. Look in sporting goods area. Different stores have different selections. Look around.

I'm finally going to be able to get my new old boat in next week at point breeze, plus better weather possibly coming. Is it gonna be too late for shallow browns? Will there likely be kings active, if so where would be likely depth & direction? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I think the state park is called Lakeside Beach state park. It's a nice spot.
