Hi all: New to Lake Ontario but not to fishing. More of a walleye guy than a salmon/trout but looking to learn. Restricted lake access to really calm days. I have a 1955 Peterborough Royal cedarstrip but its only 16 feet and is really more of jigging boat or leadcore/dipsy trolling. It's too pretty to put downriggers on and one of those balls would smash right through the side anyhow. Looking to try off of Port Credit this weekend if mother nature cooperates. Just in case you think I'm insane, I have a new 30 hp Nissan and in calm water can do 30mph so within a mile of shore I should be able to run back in. Tight lines everyone.
