  1. What are pros and cons of each? The tackle shop in Webster I used to get my herring strips from closed and the closest place in now Fat Nancy's or ATOMIC. If I need to make the trip east, I'll have to make it worth my while and stock up.

    What about salted strips?

    Thoughs?

There’s a post in the classified section you’ll probably have to scroll thru a little ways that was selling cut bait .I believe Rigged sport fishing is who it was .

  2. Normally fish the cattaragus creek no need to keep driving further down the thruway.I had a plan today to go out to 100 ft drag gambler rig cowbells on the riggers for laker and dipsys down deep for steelhead and leadcores for walleye and whatever happens happens.I New I’d find cold water for lakers at Dunkirk .Action started right of the bat no waiting time for fish to bite. Ended up the morning by 11:30 with a 3 man limit of walleye and 13 lakers a good day on the water IMG_1580.JPG

  4. Just, yes it has the dial on the P70 which is the controller for the auto pilot which allows you that +\- degree change. I also have it connected to a ray marine depthfinder Aseries that allows me to route and steer a course through it but to tell you the truth I never use that feature. I usually hit auto and fish. Set it and forget it, the Ronco way lol.

Thanks for the replay is that unit just a 1 degree to 10 degree turn on the buttons or can that be tied into your GPS unit and follow the course you enter in it .I like the lowrance auto pilot but not sure if I want to spend money on new fish finder as well .I'M thinking I'd be happy with just a basic autopilot with the 1 to 10 degree turning option on the controls

  6. Not horrible. Easier to flick off in the water, but I'm using 50lb. Mono splice in the rigger rods. I shelved the wire dives for long coppers also.
