  1. I would almost never engage in a debate like this usually I would just read it for the entertainment. But Gill-t your words are very encouraging and informative to anyone out there who's ever even consider being a captain. I am not a captain I am a googan a weekend warrior who absolutely loves to fish every chance he gets. And every so often I get this bright idea to maybe have a small Charter Business on the side for a bunch of extra spending cash. After reading your post it really matures up a younger guy like me who's 42 into the real true commitment of being a charter captain. I personally look up to all of our Charter captains in my home Port like they are sports figures. Gill t your post should be on the application to become a charter Captain before somebody even consider putting in a down payment towards the licensing commitment and fee very well said. And baitball go get them dude we need more young ambitious guys like you who are able to take a lesson or learning from an old guy and apply it towards positive energy.

Hey guys just thought I'd share the wealth. We've been doing very well on these Spoons the last two years. They are from a company called finnspoons. I found them at the Sportsman Show in the Falls 2 years ago super cool guy and his dad they got a cool backstory check out their website www.finnspoons.com. I was a little skeptical at first cuz I had never heard of them and of course they're from Michigan they're not one of us LOL thought I'd buy a handful and give him a shot last year and we absolutely destroyed the fish these are some of my favorites. I've got many many more that I bought this year at the fishing Expo that I have yet to try it's hard taking a productive luer off to try to find another productive luer LOL. They have a pretty unique shape and a proven wobbel pattern, and the single hook is 100% positive hookup ratio we've never had one shake off in 2 years and it makes for an easier safer release on them salmon I'm thinking about calling this guy up in ordering a whole bunch of hooks and swapping out a bunch of my trebles .I do believe these fish around here have not seen these I don't know many people using them just thought you guys be interested.
