  1. I own a Colorado pontoon boat that I use for casting for salmon once they start staging around the river mouths. It's very stable and all fits in my trunk. Trouble might be the 25 min to put together. Very comfortable to sit in and I bought a Minn Kota electric to help me move around.   2. Those places are tricky to fish, have to time it just right, unlike the bigger tribs that have large river mouths like Port Hope an Bville. What I suggest you do if you really want to fish it, grab a pair of breathable waders and wade out as far as you can without drowning, and cast glow spoons out in the lake. You will get into some if the winds don't come off the lake, then you have rollers and you will get wet. If you get winds from the north or calm winds, you will get them.
