  1. I am looking for information on how the high speed reels work for catching salmon. I like the idea of a faster retrieve but would like to know how that effects fighting a good king. Anyone have experience with the high speed reels. (24 in. vs 36.3 in.)
  2. Chris, You can order the box off my website at spooncrankbox.com. Thanks Doug
  3. Thanks Whaler. SpoonCrank Box is a "hobby" business to help pay for some of my fishing expenses and keep me busy so I don't get myself into trouble which comes naturally for me. I have a 25 foot Baha Fisherman and fish out of Bootlegger Marina at Wilson. Can always use some extra cash to throw into the hole in the water.
  4. Shipping from Grand Island to Interlaken will be around $13
  5. Grand Island. Working out of my garage.
  6. The SpoonCrank Box is a tackle storage system which can be used with just spoons (90 magnum and/or standard size), just stickbaits (50), or a combination of spoons and stickbaits. Its unique removable partition system allows you to customize the box to your fishing needs. Storage in the cover provides easy access to terminal tackle, plyers, knife, etc. Big enough for all your go-to lures and sized to conveniently store in your boat. All USA made components. $60 plus shipping. Send me your address (Please include phone number and I will check FedEx which is usually lower cost) and I will let you know the shipping costs.
  7. Update on my 2 axis Cannon rod holder problem. Scott at Cannon customer service quickly addressed my problem and sent a new pivot pin, spacers and clip washers. Easy fix to replace old pin with new parts and back to like new condition. Great to see a company stand behind their product and make happy customers.
  8. Another option is the SpoonCrank Box which you can buy at spooncrankbox.com or at Captain Bob's in Clarence NY. You can use it for all spoons (90) or all crankbaits (50) or some combination of spoons and crankbaits.
  9. Check out the SpoonCrank Box which holds 90 magnum and/or regular sized spoons in a box which is sized for space challenged boats. spooncrankbox.com
  10. I bought the Cannon dual axis rod holder this spring and the pivot pin on one side broke. Anyone else have this problem? I emailed Cannon asking them to replace the rod holder or supply replacement parts. No response yet.

  17. Holds 90 spoons or 50 crankbait or some combination of spoons and crankbaits. Ideal size for space challenged boats. Convenient storage in the cover for terminal tackle, leaders, pliers, etc. For sale at Hamburg Expo this weekend at Ultimate Outdoors booth, at Captain Bob's in Clarence or at SPOONCRANKBOX.com.
  18. Hi guys, The SpoonCrank Box will hold the reef runner 800 and tail dancer 11. The bill will touch the bottom of the box, however, the lure will stay in place when flipping the cards and the foam on the cover holds the lures in place when the box is turned upside down. Not perfect but it works! The Rapala 11 also fits the box. I will have these lures at the show and you can see for yourself. The boxes will be at Captain Bob's Outdoors booth. Cost is $55 for the Crankbait box and $51 for the spoon Box. The crankbait box can hold both crankbaits and spoons by removing some of the insertable partitions. Hope to see you at the show. Thanks for your interest. I do not have any of the other lures that you identified.
  19. Check out the SpoonCrank Box which will be available at the Niagara Fishing Expo. It can be a spoon box with a capacity of 90 magnum and/or regular spoons, a crankbait box with a capacity of 50 lures or a combination of spoons and crankbaits by using insertable partitions. Its compact size makes it a perfect fit for the small boat fisherman. Imagine all your go-to-lures in an easy to store and retrieve tackle box. Extra storage in the cover.
