Does anyone find Structure or Side scan to be much value while trolling for Salmon?

Hi- my name is Clark. I go by Kingfisher. We have a 21' Thompson Fisherman rigged for the Great Lakes. We've fished Lake Erie out of Port Clinton and Geneva for about 21 years and Lake Michigan (out of Holland) for about ten years. We have heard great things about Lake O out of Olcott, NY so we are making a switch to NY. I have travelled there a couple times this season and find the area to be fabulous. Glad to be aboard the forum. I know I'll have lots of questions as we go along. In the meantime- Happy Labor Day to all and "Good Fishin'"
