    Lead core brand

    I run all micro lead just because I like smaller gear and I walleye fish a lot I would say about 6 feet per color but that's just around about number. Lead core is really tuff to tell what it's doing some days I get 40 to 45 on a 7 color other days it seems like only 30 current and speed has everything too do with it. I rather be 15ft above the fish then 15ft below them. So I always put less out at first if my fish are at 50ft I will run a 7 color at first. But does micro work better then regular lead no just might sink a little more at times and can use smaller reels.

    Run UV spoon colors or non UV spoon colors

    We had two water melon spoons one with extra uv and one with just a little uv I thought I was on to something with the extra uv this thing would blind you if you turned on a black light! So all summer the two went down for testing for my company. I was wrong the extra uv sucked! So I changed spoons and colors and again the extra uv came in last again. Little uv is what I will stick with too much uv is no good pap is right there is a happy medium.

    Thanks pap I put a lot of pride in my lures! 2017 i have a ton of new stuff coming out. But as far as painting your own it's awesome because you can make anything you want and it's your own pattern way more too it then money spent if you injoy doing it then it's not about money!! Have fun with it pap! and if you need anything you got my number just call bud!

    Pap there is ups and downs too both water is safer but is harder to spray base coat is pretty toxic but sprays far better then water could ever think of! No tip dry don't have to worry about humidity and the speed of base coat is way faster. I use both but I prefer solvent over water on lures or cars! But for a hobby Water is what I recommend because solvent is hard core stuff then you need thinner and that stuff is no good for you either pap! And goes for spoon prep it's all about what it is brass blank or was it silver plated and are they lacquer coated? This all has too do with good prep knowledge of your blanks is how you start! That's why it's tuff to repaint spoons because you never know what they are!
