I'm just inquiring your experience on trouts leaving the shallow south end for deeper waters. At what water temperature it seems to happen? Yesterday water was averaging 55 degrees

What time of the year are looking to fish? If in eArly spring ... very different than summer. In summer we had good success with dipsy and flasher/fly combo.. green/blue fly worked the best but the depth was the most important.. it seems

Went Thursday afternoon. Got 2 lakers and 1 salmon south of Myers in 150 feet of water using ff. Was fishing in 70-80 feet of water with dipsy diver .

Thank you. I tried yesterday with ff in front of taughanok and slitghly nort of boy-scout camp then returned through east side north of Myers .. 3 marks in 4 hours.. no fishes in the boat .

I was hoping to get some insights on where to go at this time of the year and what to try as a setup.
I have ff that we try in October . Was great north of boy-scout camp. I was told trouera are returning to the south end and shalllower water.
Any advice would be great.
