So I took last Thursday off to fish Ontario. I rolled into Mexico point nice and early and immediately decided that it would be suicide in my 18ft Tracker. I ended up at Skeneateles and trolled around for hours and got one laker. Not a bad back up plan but I would like to be better prepared next time. Would appreciate any feedback on these two lakes. Another thing to consider is number of cylinders. Most 6hp motors are single cylinders where a 8hp is the smallest twin. Twin cylinder four strokes are far more quiet and have a lot less vibration. Even if a 8hp is slight overkill it's worth it in my opinion. And make sure it's a long shaft. Sent from my iPod touch using Lake Ontario United mobile app
