I just bought a Daiwa Seagate 60H to run a 300 foot section of weighted steel. The delivery guy just dropped it at my front door and I immediately pulled it out and started to fool with it. Not sure if something is wrong or not, but when I open the free spool lever and start turning the handle it does not engage/close the lever allowing me to take up line. I can close it manually and do feel it lock in when I start to turn the handle, but that is the only way it will engage. All of my cold waters and tekotas will engage when I turn the handle so this seems weird to me. Just wondering if anyone else out there has one and can let me know if this is normal or abnormal. Thanks very much.

Here is a link to hear the Lake Management Units autopsy results on the almost 43 pounder and 36 pounder caught on the north shore. Very interesting.
