I just bought a Daiwa Seagate 60H to run a 300 foot section of weighted steel. The delivery guy just dropped it at my front door and I immediately pulled it out and started to fool with it. Not sure if something is wrong or not, but when I open the free spool lever and start turning the handle it does not engage/close the lever allowing me to take up line. I can close it manually and do feel it lock in when I start to turn the handle, but that is the only way it will engage. All of my cold waters and tekotas will engage when I turn the handle so this seems weird to me. Just wondering if anyone else out there has one and can let me know if this is normal or abnormal.
