Looking to become a live aboard. The houseboat we are looking at is on pontoon's that hold 8 tons of weight and it doesn't LOOK to be too close to the water we would be living a board on Lake Ontario between the bluff marina and the marina in the west end and we are worried about rough water and if we would be ok on it or if going with a barge would be a better option for a year round home.
