  1. Billy right on the $$ for the tape on the spool. Here is another way to put the wire on solo. You need a tennis ball, screw driver and a vise. put the screw driver thru the wire spool then put the screw driver thru the tennis ball then put the blade of the screw driver in the vise push the screw driver in the vise until you have good tension on the wire spool and your all set you can adjust the tension on the spool just by pushing in on letting out it works great. ;)

  2. Set the blacks tight then use a rubber band wrap it around the line and put it in the blacks. I think it's a lot easier on my line instead of wrapping the line around the metal clip it self. I read it in Keating on kings book and it lets me crank down on my rods so I don't have a big bow in my line. It also lets me see smaller fish because they don't break the band and the rods bounces.

  3. Chris I would put a fuel/water filter in the back of the boat run your main fuel line in to the filter and you can tap the big motor and the kicker off the fuel filter and you should be all set. That's what I run and never had a problem.

Here is one from bass pro shops if you look at the top you can see you can put more than one out put coming out I don't know if this one is good for you but it gives you an idea what I'm talking about.

  4. Has any one used the NauticPath USA map for lake Ontario? And if so does it have bottom depth readings out to the middle of the lake (beyond 5 to 10 mile) or just inside 5 miles. I would also like to here what type of maps you use for the Oaks area. I am looking at the gold X14g map from Navionics but I also have the hot map 2008 that covers a lot of the eastern basin But I don't know if it covers the Oak area I know it doesn't go to the bar so I'm just wondering what everyone uses. Sorry if this is confusing  I'm trying to save me some cash on buying all the maps I need If my hot map covers most of the area then I don't have to spend $200 bucks on a map just for the bar area. Thank in advance
