  1. Beleive it or not , the red road runner head was a killer for perch last year on Cayuga Lake. I did not rig it that way, just 1 fathead then a plan red hook a foot above it with a large minnow. Large minnows = large perch and keeps away the dinks most of the time.

  2. We fished the northend of cayuga on sunday. walked to about 300yards north of the twin bouys and found about 2 1/2 inches of clear ice. kept 24 decent perch and we had a lot of through backs. The fishing was slow but a very nice 5 hours on the ice.
