You need a bigger truck! My buddy has a Lund 20ft boat what a great fishing machine.

Sounds like a great trip John. I need to talk to Erby to see whats up for later this year.

Gets real expensive when you need to trailer the boat 400 miles  . However you can amoritize that cost over a few days fishing and feel a little better about the gas expense . Glad to see you had a great time.

Nice Fish Billy you knew they would show there faces eventually Hoping Erby and I can get into some good action this Aug.

Were you using the 42nd spoon Erby told you about?

Try grape R+R spoons on the riggers and a Atomic supercrazy spin doctor with a hammer fly on the wire.

Eric is doing great, I believe he's up until friday. Got some great pictures of his boat on tuesday at the bar.

Been There Done That
In the 80's sometime we ended up in Oswego when the remnants of hurricane Andrew blew through. Spent 5 days watching the waves. Much to rough for anyone.
It really stinks when you get there and the weather gods crap on you.

Try getting on the water earlier, the skinny water bite is usually best at first light.
Good luck

Went to Lake George with Erbyjoe in the mid 80's trolling for salmon and lakers. Fishing 40-50 down over 140-150. One morning while trolling by Green island one of the downriggers fires and I grab the rod. We had been catching smaller salmon and lakers up to 3-4 lbs and lots of them. This one felt HUGE I could barely move it, reel down pump up, reel down pump up. This went on for 5-10 min and we backed the boat over the "fish". Next thing we see is a yellow rope and Erby grabs it, ended up pulling up a 10lb anchor and 100ft of anchor line

Didn't happen on the boat, but I'm sure Erbyjoe remembers walking to get more shiners

Hey, can I go too? Just as long as Erby doesn't send me down on one of the riggers with a net

I'm a senior microwave/millimeterwave technician. I build stuff for high bandwidth wireless communications systems. Erbyjoe would understand
I also buy and sell on eBay thats where the real money is at

Your going to want some Marine grade plywood, its the only thing thats going to hold for a good long time. The stuff ain't cheap, but you really don't want to do this every 2-3 years. For the floor covering try boats usa or west marine.

My stomach is pretty good in the rollers, however the captain has had issues. We got out in some pretty bumpy stuff last year in the 19ft. We tried the ginger snaps last year and they seemed to help. Dramamine just makes me feel crappy.
