  1. Hello All.. I am in process of cleaning out basement of extra equipment accumulated over the years. I just found this box in basement and judging by the collection inside, it should be a GOLD MINE for someone. All these spoons are very light, flutter type, perfect for slow trolling or what have you. I have three pictures dfrom my phone. If you need any quesions asked please email or PM me.

I am looking to sell these to the Highest bidder on this forum by next sunday. Thanks

PLEASE PM me with any questions or bids..

  2. Im 100% sure thats Trout t Run nursery waters. I fished saturday through monday up there, fishing was ok. Cant wait to start trolling again.

    WOW!

Anybody hit the Oak? or Irondiqoit Creek yet? If so, Any Reports

I am almost 100% certain that would be Trout Run here in NW PA. No reports; its designated nursery water

  3. Nice. They do look like a cross between Penn Yan and Thompson. That 240 looks very similar to a 255 Penn Yan,especially with the pulpit. I am a big Penn Yan fan, but these NEW thompsons sure look nice.

I always thought the bottoms of the Thompson were too rounded?? IMHO.

  4. I would definitely suggest getting a survey by a professional. Sportcraps are notorious for rotten stringers . Just my .02

If it is a solid boat, then that 27' sport is a great fishing boat that can handle some big water, smooth and dry.

  5. Trying to find someone to travel alone or with my crew 5 hours from PA to sit on a strangers boat and not get to fish is IMPOSSIBLE! I have tried young, old, rich, poor, doesnt matter.

If there is a NO observer rule I would fish most NY tournaments regularly.

(because of my captains license I am limited to pro division with an observer)

We have spoken about this topic over the past few years at our LOTSA meetings and always come to the same conclusion that the best way to increase participation is to eliminate observers. Some of the Michigan Tournaments do it and get great participation. We would support the assignment of observers on the second day to the top 5 - 10 boats from the first day for added integrity. We also support culling for the Western Pro Ams as we put way too much time and $$ into Pen Rearing to have to kill all of those small Kings. - Joe Yaeger
