Two fawns this morning without mom. First time this year I have seen that. -

Bugs were brutal tonight. Tweaked a set tonight by moving the stand 25 yards. Perfect day to.do it with the wind help to mask the noise. Did have some chasing but never saw the buck responsible. Text book perfect morning to be in the woods. lots of does and fawns on their feet. they seem to be very cautious. probably sick of being chased by young bucks. only one small rack so far.

Had a encounter with a big buck tonight. Looked like the same chocolate racked 9 pt that I couldn't get a shot on thanksgiving last season. He made his way onto the field just before 6. So who's been visiting this huge community scrape? Camera has been on it for a month and it tells the whole story. 10 bucks total that actually worked the scrape in the past month. Other deer visited it but i didnt include them. Six of these bucks were in the past 9 days. Enjoy!

Got to witness another buck fight tonight between a couple of little bucks. One heavy clash of the antlers and it was over though.
