  5. King head style is bigger, making it easier to stuff the meat into it. King style head run true out of the package and require far less tuning them Rhys Davis Heads.
  6. 3 rod spread for shoreline browns? Id probably run all flatlines. I ight start the day with a diver and 2 flatlines to see what the fish tell me. However early in the year flatlines are superior.
  7. Nope mainline right to the diver. Personally I run 12' leaders from diver to the bait.
  8. Salmon fishing leaders... Downrigger spoon rods= 12' of 20# fluoro leadcores= 36' of 20# fluoro coppers 200' or less= 36' of 20# fluoro coppers 250' or more= 36' of 30# fluoro (for flashers) and 36' of 20# fluoro for spoons divers= 12' of 20# fluoro= spoons and 12' of 30-40# fluoro for flashers
  9. they look strong enough however they lack the ability to stay at 90 degrees to the boat and that would scare me away.
  10. too many variables that effect the amount of pull including speed, current, size of divers, etc. What are you using for rod holders? Maybe we can answer your the question on if the rod holders are good enough.
  11. Olcott, Oak Orchard, Bald Eagle, Sandy Creek are all amazing choices. Niagara, Orleans, and western Monroe County are the place to be in July.
  12. Could be. What it means is we should have a larger amount of good water vs the typical year where its extremely tight to shore. You should be able to fish a bit deeper and find plenty of hungry fish. Im expecting to see lots of Kings around out of my home port in that time frame.
  13. Plenty of browns around then... however with the weather trend things will probably be more like early May fishing
  14. This was held in Pulaski, NY. No info yet on a 2025 event however details will probably be announced in fall of this year. Keep an eye out for the 2025 Great Lakes Trolling School. Follow me on Facebook for the announcement.
  15. Thanks for the kind words and appreciate you guys coming!
