Grunt call brought him in. He seemed more interested in filling his belly than looking for a mate.

I chose the thick stuff for my afternoon sit. Backdoor entrance to a big bedding area. Just had a six or walk through.

Heres the latest pics of the 8, 9, 10 pt. Some good pics and some bad pics but everything is still night time visits.
But, of course, there is a handful of 1.5 year old running during daytime.

looks as if mother nature will have us grounded for the next couple of days. My plan is to hunt every morning starting this saturday for the next month! Cant Wait!
Live from the swamp stand tonight! My kid is on stand tonight too. I'm just hoping to get a success text from him. No buck is safe from that kid!

Almost three seasons ago I found this rub on a telephone pole size tree and an amazing spot that needed a stand. Well I finally hung a stand in the spot and tonight will be the first sit in this new set.

Some early action from the afternoon sit. Small doe feeding in the field and I just had a 3pt sneak by me. Hopefully they are moving after the rain today. I also saw 5 scrapes on the hike in.
