I must say Triton makes some sweet boats. The WA and CC are beautiful. I wish the company would start making the bigger boats again.

my buddy uses a Toyota Tacoma and says its no problem for the 20 foot boat.

i am sure you can ski off it, tube etc. but i will ask if he took his kids skiing.
yeah the HT would be nice,..but i guess i will have to buy the fisherman's top with enclosure.

My friends friend is selling his 20 ft Trophy WA with a 150 merc offshore outboard… He is moving to California so he needs to sell before he leaves.
So I am pretty confident the boat /engine have no serious issues…he says it runs flawless and loves the boat. Its light so it’s easy to tow and should work well in both salt and freshwater. If I get it I would like to add a HT kicker 9.9 and 4 electric riggers. I would also have to purchase the fisherman top and side curtains.
Not sure of exact year and price yet.
If anyone here has this boat all rigged up I would like to see some pics.
Thanks tony

If you keep a glass boat docked in fresh water does it need to be bottom painted? If so, how often does it need to be painted? Also what about aluminum boats?
thanks tony

Good news, Scotty manufacturing is pleased to launch it's new HP series of downriggers. They will be shipping in December.
I had the pleasure of field testing these the last 2 months of the season. Only minor bugs were discovered. They have been rectified and are now ready for World-wide launch. The 3 biggest features that appeal to me are MUCH faster, HUGE digital display/ counter that is lighted, improved rod holder design. Other features the company is touting: Kevlar drive belt, same material used in high-end vehicle drive belts, sealed/lighted counters w/ 5yr battery, marinco corrosion resistant plugs, and World-class weight retrieval speeds: 20lb ball-- 260'/min, 15lb ball--295'/min, 12lb ball--304'/min, 10lb ball--312'/min. The riggers come with a limited lifetime warranty for original purchaser. More info and details [email protected]
Vince, are they a smaller profile than the original design?

Billy you should put it on

I used the anglers pal with ball and socket...worked great and you can have the rods anyway you chose..just make sure you really crank down on them so they don't spin..when done fishing you can just lie them flat to gunnels...I did keep a safety line on my wire dipsy rods just in case..but never had an issue
