Looking for any one who might own a Parker Sport Cabin. Interested in the quality and price. Thanks Sean
I like those boats as well, I see tons of them of sandy hook and I can't find a used one which tells me people hold on to them.

I experienced the same customer service as you multiple times Yankee Clipper. I never spoke with a person! Seems like a company with that busy of a customer service department may be putting out a crappy product. I will be having a Lowrance X136df for sale soon.
yep, you hit the nail right on the head....I like their features but I think there quality sucks...My friends and I had to send our new units back for one thing or another.....I may try hummingbird.

I was thinking of buying a new sonar/gps with the build in antenna.
do you think i will have any trouble locking onto satellites through the Bimini top?
I figure if the one in my car works then the one on boat should work ok.
any info would be great...
thanks

Has anyone used the special antenna that Moor is selling to be used on Scottys because of the bead problems with the regular spring style antenna? How do they work as far as passing the bead through and do you think that they work as well as an antenna (signal quality)?
Thanks, Dick
i made this..

thanks guys, although I prefer outboards I will probably end up getting an I/O with kicker on the side. To bad they don't make an open transdsome like my current boat...

while fishing this past week; my one wire dipsy set up using Daiwa SG47LC had the ceramic guide come loose while a big king was taking line. ...
it's the level wind area where the wire feeds through the ceramic insert...it popped out and the line started cutting through the plastic!........anyway no major damage was done and I Krazy glued the guide back in......has anyone had this problem?
-
yeah it was dead flat calm, i was wishin for a breeze , it was so hot on the boat....we had 54 degrees at 77 down.....
-
the fish were going ballistic today.....
we stayed right of wrights landing for most of the day...fished in 80-120 fow...dipsys did most of the fish with 200 feet of wire out...green and white SD's with green flies.. I also took a few fish on the slasher goldenboy with green fly....and one on a glo green J-PLUG..

I was looking at video cameras a few months ago......you have built in hard drives, digital tapes, and mini DVD's for storage. ........I like the DVD idea because I don't have to spend any time transferring from camera/tape to DVD disks.......... But i heard mixed reviews on the quality and performance so i ended up not buying anything at this point.......

Sony Digital 8 Handycam M#DCR-TRV340.

I see that the recommended leader length for the flasher/fly rig is 18 to 30 inches. What size flasher is used for this setup??
I had been using the 11 in for the cutbait rig but have only used a fly rig a handful of times with an 8 in flasher and about a 25 to 30 in leader.
Any advice is appreciated.
36" for the 11 inchers

its roufly 40%...so if you have a 100 feet out you are down 40...
300 ft of wire should put you at about 120' deep
