  1. On our boat we usually run flurocarbon leaders, Main line trilene biggame, for brown's 10#biggame and 10# flurocarbon Pline and seagar is a good choice of leader. KING'S 30# biggame, 20# seagar fluro for spoons. fly/flasher riggs go with 50# fluro leader.

  2. PM we fish out of portbay a little to the east of sodus. Last year around the time you are coming up this year, we were heading out early try a couple passes for browns in the low light, if the water was clear we would head out to about 80ft to 125ft looking for kings, program we ran was a fly flasher down the middle, spoons usually 28 size(r&r- Northern king- Stinger-just a couple of named spoons) staged above the middle rigger and spoons or flies off the wires. also cohos and steelhead fishing is pretty good that time of year same set up as the browns with planners and smaller spoons, but you have to do some searchin. Hope this helped.

  3. I don't agree with the open communication rule also. The whole reason this tourney was great because everyone went out and tried to beat everyone else, without the help of other fishermen. I have fished oswego and sodus, everytime our team got on the boat we showed the observer are phones were off and they went on the dash of the boat & the radio was set on ch 16. Just my 2 cents.
