over the years i have caught quite a few walleye out of conesus and this is the first one that had flesh that looked that way.

Hi all,

i caught this walleye wed night on conesus. Fish looked really healthy but as you can see, the flesh is not the white/translucent color it should be. The flesh smelled perfectly fine. Do any of you know what this is and if it is safe to eat?

i agree that everything you've done, Jason, is wonderful. I did notice that under "rules" it says the derby begins 5a SUNDAY; i'm pretty sure you want to change that to SATURDAY

Rules also state "Contestants must present Registration Card for prize". In the past, one did not have to be at the award ceremony to receive a prize. Is that still the case?

Whaler1's fish looks like a bowfin to me, but Tg8's does not. Is that a burbot? and Tg8 looks like he's on Canadaigua? I'm curious what Tg8's fish is.

I've hunted 11 days and have yet to release an arrow. Hunting out of 8N.

I wash my clothes after every single hunt and am fairly meticulous with Scent control but the only shooter I've seen this year winded me at 70 yards despite my precautions
