  1. Adk1, The Sodus Pro Am draws boats of all shapes and sizes. To answer your question, it all depende on $$$ and your location. There are several ramps for trailered boats to launch, some charge a small fee (private), some are free (State owned). Lodgeing goes from trailer parks to fancy bed & breakfasts. All depending on what you want. Wayne County tourism has info on everything you might need. Contact them on line and they will send you all the info you need. They helped run our tournement for several years and are still major supporters. Plan your trip early as it gets pretty busy in the summertime.

  2. DITR06, There several charter captains on this forum, myself included. And lots of friends of charter captains. So I'm sure you will get several replies covering the entire Lake. And by the time you want to make a choice, you will be more confused than ever. Most captains will get you fish and you will have a great time on our Lake. Species, time of the year, etc. will narrow it down some, but not much. You'll have a great time but I think you will be tired of reading the posts that respond. Good luck and good fishing. Capt. Dane

  3. Try Abe's or Capt. Jacks. Not sure if they have any left or not. They both support the tournement in a hugh way.

And it's not too late to enter j14spocket. Cash only, and register at Krenzer Marine. See Tim or Julie. They are handleing entries.

I'm a little shocked at the  number of AM entries. We changed several of the rules to accommodate AM boats, and there numbers are not real high.

Come on guys, step up, it's a fun time.

  4. JUST A REMINDER. Tomorrow, Friday May 3rd, at 11:30 AM we will be getting our net pen chinooks. Arney's Marina on Rt. 14. Could use a hand if anyone is available. If you have never seen it, it's pretty cool to watch and pitch in.

  5. The chinooks for the pen rearing project will arrive Friday, May 3rd, at 11:30 AM. Location is at Arney's Marina on Rt. 14.

Due to the low water, the pens were put out in a deeper location than past years. Not sure if the trucks will have enough tubes to shoot the fish far enough. So we may have to do a bucket brigade this year. That means we will NEED MORE HELP than usual. Please try to lend a hand if you can. Thanks

  6. Just a reminder. We will be putting the net pens together and placeing them in the water on MONDAY, APRIL 22, AT 9:30 AM. Location is in the rear of Katlyn Marine Boat Storage Barns on Margaretta Road. Off Rt 14, first left turn past Arney's Marina headed north. It should take no more than two hours with enough help.

Help support this great project by lending a hand. Thanks in advance.

  7. When I mentioned the location on Margaretta Road for the location of the net pens,I stated in the rear of Hollingsworth"s Fab shop. I guess the name has been changed to Katlyn Marina Boat Storage. Sorry for the mis information, old habits are hard to break.

Glad to hear we will have some new faces there to help. Anyone is welcome to join us. Rain or shine. Thanks in advance.

  8. The net pens for Sodus Bay will be put together and set in the water Monday, April 22, 2013 at 9:30 AM. All helpers are welcome, and we do need help.

We will meet at Hollingsworth"s Fabrication barn on Margaretta Road, off Rt. 14, first left turn past Arney's Marina going north.

The pens will be put together and moved to Arney's and set in the water. The fish are expected soon so this must get done.

It should take no more than an hour or two with enough help. Please try and lend a hand if you have time. Thanks
